DRAWINGS

For an illustrator, drawings are always the starting point. At the same time as working on commissions, I have scribbled away in my sketchbooks.

Recently I have moved on to drawing for its own sake, as artwork, using coloured pencils. Some of the images are directly inspired by the sketchbook ideas, others are interesting architectural oddities seen on local walks or my travels. However, never as direct representational renderings but interpreted through my own particular vision.
